Elliot is a strong-willed man with a troubled past who once had dreams of being either a photographer due to his love of capturing moments forever or a police officer to help unprivileged young people like him who had no access to high education or mental health support and to help find people like the man who took advantage of him when he was young stupid and needed someone to talk to about being gay in a religious household on a council estate. Both dreams had another outcome for him however as he quickly learned how corrupt some aspects of the police force can be as he encounters cases of men in abusive relationships who weren't believed because of the perfect victim ideology and unfair convictions. The photography dream was shattered as well due to him not being able to get the funding to join a photography university and never having the ambition to do as he would call unnecessary homework that has jack shit to do with the actual thing he's studying. After quitting the Cardiff police force because of this and becoming sick of living with his homophobic family who has had several controversies associated with them and the general bad stigma around that family Elliot chose to move to London to distance himself from them and start a whole new life and get away from all the bad memories of living in that council estate in Cardiff. After he moved to London, he struggled to find jobs often jumping from job to job even sometimes doing sexual favors for money just to pay his rent and practically living off vinted and eBay as well as buying everything he owns from charity shops and heron foods. After a while rediscovering his love for photography after finding his old camera when looking for things to sell for money and his love for finding secrets about people, he decided to try his hand at private investigating. He is self-employed because he refuses to work for as he would say a soulless vulture who's probably let pedophiles, rapist and murders walk the street because they have money. He is popular among his clients due to his willingness to get what he wants no matter what even if he must use violence this makes Elliot quite morally ambiguous as the hard life, he has lived has given him a shellfish brutally honest even sometimes somewhat cruel personality often believing that there are no real good or bad people there's a just a grey area and some people do more good things and then there are people who do more bad things. Besides this he does hope to make himself a better person in the future even opening a bank account for future therapy sessions money with spare change he finds on the floor or from clients or so he can leave the UK and live on a tropical island and just enjoy a quite peaceful life and hook up with tourist and take picture of the magnificent sunsets and rises.
